PPF vs Window Tint: Which Does Your Car Need?
Understanding the Difference
Paint Protection Film (PPF) and window tint are two of the most popular automotive film products, but they serve very different purposes.
Paint Protection Film (PPF)
PPF is a thick, transparent urethane film applied to your vehicle's painted surfaces. Its primary purpose is to protect your paint from rock chips, scratches, UV damage, and chemical stains.
Window Tint
Window tint is applied to your vehicle's glass to reduce heat, block UV rays, and provide privacy. Modern ceramic tints offer up to 60% heat rejection and 99% UV blockage.
Which Do You Need?
The answer is often both. PPF protects your exterior paint investment, while window tint protects your interior and improves comfort.
